Michael Del-Colle

Michael Del-Colle is a senior manager in Accenture’s Federal practice. He is a retired Federal procurement executive, having worked in a number of civilian agencies during his 34 year career. At the time of retirement in April, 2002 he was the Director of Competitive Sourcing for the Department of Interior. He was also the senior procurement manager of GovWorks. He has a broad range of experiences in managing special assignments and mission programs during his Federal career. 

As part of his current responsibilities he represents Accenture to a number of associations representing Federal contractors. He sits on two GSA Industry Government Councils dealing with IT and professional services. On behalf of both the Professional Services Council and TechAmerica he presents industry’s perspective on the risks of Government contracting at DAU classes. He is also responsible for overseeing the development of policies needed to comply with Federal regulations.

Mike’s experience on both sides of Federal contracting allow him to see things differently. Not normally shy or retiring and just short of being smart, he is known to dance with the elephant in the room – he asks tough questions, looks beyond the obvious and addresses the ambiguities of Federal contracting.
