Description: This course will discuss the various types of contract modifications and their associated FAR clauses. Topics include cardinal and constructive changes, equitable adjustments, and contract terminations.
Presenter: Jean Marceau Lohier
Jean Marceau Lohier, CPCM, CFCM, is currently a Sr. Contracts Manager with AT&T Government Solutions, Inc. (AT&T), a Subject Matter Expect (SME), the President of the Tysons Chapter of the National Contracts Management Association (NCMA), Co-Lead of the Contracts Working Group for the Integrated Program Management Division (IPMD) of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), a 2016 member of the School of Business Industry Advisory Council (IAC) of American Public University System (APUS)/American Military University (AMU) (Government Contracting and Acquisition Program) and an Instructor Contractor with INL/CAP Training – U.S. Department of State (DoS).
Prior to his current roles, Mr. Lohier held several contracts management positions, including as Contracts General Manager with GTSI Corp. (now Unicom Government, Inc.) and a Sr. Contracts/Grants Administrator with the Academy for Educational Development in Washington, DC. He provides life-cycle contract management and negotiation for all contract types from pre-sales (including strategy and development support) to post-award and contract close-out phases. He has successfully led, trained, coached, and mentored multiple teams and contracts professionals. He has also helped establish processes and procedures to ensure compliance with contracts and profitability to the organizations. Nationally, he has presented at conferences and has published several professional articles most of them in the Contract Management Magazine.
