Description: This course will discuss the background and applicability FAR Part 31, when it does and does not apply, and required accounting practices. The course will also cover different accounting practices for different organizations or contract types.

John Polcari is a manager in Baker Tilly’s Government Contractor Advisory Services practice with over eight years of experience in government contract regulatory compliance. Over the course of his career, John has dealt with a wide range of issues contractors frequently face, including Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) compliance. John also has extensive experience related to CAS required Disclosure Statements, Incurred Cost Proposal (ICP) submissions, cost impact analyses, and in the general design and maintenance of compliant contractor indirect cost allocation structures. John earned his B.S. degree in Accounting and Finance from Salisbury University.
