CLS & Subcontract Management – Records Retention, Contract Closeout, CACWS And Terminations

Event description: This course will cover contract closeouts, the roles and responsibilities within your organization and the government and the procedures by contract type. The course will also discuss the Cumulative Allowable Cost Worksheet (“CACWS”) and provide an overview of the Termination for Convenience process.

Speaker: Eddie Feldman and Derek Boyd

Eddie has more than six years of experience assisting clients with various cost accounting and compliance issues related to government contracts and two years of experience with the Defense Contract Audit Agency auditing contractors. He specializes in matters related to United States Federal contracting compliance including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) guidance, and has advised many clients across diverse industries on these matters. Eddie earned his B.S. degree in Accounting from Virginia Tech and is a CPA licensed in the state of Virginia.

Derek has supported contractors in both a consultative and internal capacity for over a dozen years, working directly with contractors and their government stakeholders. He assists clients on a wide range of business issues and regulatory compliance matters including the design and build compliant cost accounting and business systems in accordance with FAR, CAS, and DFARS requirements and industry best practices. Derek earned his B.B.A degree in Accountancy and Finance from James Madison University and is a CPA licensed in the state of Virginia.

This course will be held via a virtual webcast. WebEx instructions will be sent to all registrants the day prior to the training.
