Brendon J. Johnson graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics -1997.  He served 4 years on active duty with the United States Army in various tactical and logistical positions (1997-2001).  He started as a Contract Specialist for the Department of Commerce, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in 2001.  He obtained my first Contracting Officer's warrant and, after various assignments, promotion to GS-13 Contracting Officer. In 2005, he was promoted to a GS-14 position as Lead Contract Specialist/Contracting Officer for the COMMITS and COMMITS-NexGen GWACs. He completed a MBA with University of Mary Washington in 2005.  He transferred to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in 2006 where he served as Contracting Officer, Team Lead and then Branch Chief.  In 2015, he was promoted to GS-15 Division Chief with the Department of Interior - Interior Business Center - the division currently provides assisted acquisition services to the Department of Interior and over 100 other federal agencies - to include the Department of Defense.  They provide full cradle-to-grave assisted acquisition and financial assistance support on a fee-for-service basis for all types of contracts/items to include: IT, Cloud, Cyber, Supplies, Services, Systems & R&D. He currently hold an Unlimited Contracting Officer's Certificate of Appointment.
