The NCMA Tysons Chapter would like to invite you to register for our Spring CFCM Study Group, starting on Friday, 15 March 2019!

Information Related to the Spring CFCM Study Group Syllabus can be found below:

Required Book: CFCM Study Guide, 3rd Edition. The CFCM study guide is $75 (plus tax and shipping) for NCMA members and $90 (plus tax and shipping) for non-members and can be purchased online at the link below or over the phone (800-344-8096):{22182500-E0A8-E511-8F6F-0050569C00A7}

Fee: $100 for NCMA member; $125 for non-member, $75 for government employee.  **All registrations are final and no refund will be issued**

Objective: The purpose of this course is to prepare students to successfully complete the CFCM exam and to earn the CFCM certification.

Format: The course is 10 weeks long, with weekly reading assignments, in-person session, online discussion board postings, and weekly practice exams. The course has once-a-week in-person session 8Am-10AM Fridays with at least one online discussion board during the week. CPE credit will be issued based on class attendance (2 hours per class, for a total of 20 CPEs if attended all 10 weeks).*Last 2 weeks will be on Thursday (5/23/19 & 5/30/19)

Online Peer Discussion Questions: Students are required to post at least one question and respond to at least one question related to the week's content.

Quizzes: Weekly quizzes (10-20 questions each). These quizzes test knowledge of content similar to that covered in the actual CFCM examination.

Final Exam: Students must pass the Final Exam, which will be posted during Week 10. The Final Exam consists of 50 questions and the passing score is 70%. Students may re-take the Final Exam as many times as needed, but credit will not be given until the passing score is achieved. NOTE: The Final Exam is not the same as the CFCM Certification Exam.

Certification: The CFCM application and exam are separate from this course. Taking this course will prepare you, but does not equal or guarantee your certification, nor does it guarantee your eligibility to sit for the exam. To become certified, you must apply for certification and schedule your certification exam. For more on certification, visit

Cancellation/Refund Policy:  Registered participants who request to withdraw from the course up 72 hours before the official course start date will receive a full refund.
