Dear NCMA Tysons Members,
I am sure that many of you have been monitoring the news via several media outlets so I will not bother to update you on what will be old news tomorrow. However, I would like to update you on the state of the Chapter. We remain concerned about the health and safety of our members and have decided to continue with virtual events for the remainder of the program year which ends June 30th.
Our first virtual dinner meeting on Tuesday, April 28th from 6:30pm – 8:00pm will feature Madame Michelle Currier who will lead a discussion on the topic “Leadership Perspectives: What would you do? A TransDigm Discussion.” Registration for our remaining dinner meetings will be free. We have decided this is the time to help others and will instead fundraise for various organizations that are supporting COVID relief efforts. For the next month, we invite you to join NCMA Tysons in making a contribution to the World Central Kitchen to support those impacted by COVID19. We have a goal of $2,000 and will match 50% of the funds raised. Donations will be accepted upto our next virtual dinner meeting in which we will select another charitable organization participating in COVID relief efforts.
I want to thank you for your support of our events and when the time is right, we will be looking at dates to reschedule the Leadership Summit and the Women In Leadership Symposium in the future and will be sure to keep you informed.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
