NCMA Tysons offers two dedicated scholarship programs for students in varying stages of education and career development.

NCMA Tysons Post-Graduate Scholarship

All current and incoming students pursuing a degree or certificate in a Government Contracts graduate program are invited to apply for one $1,000 scholarship being offered by NCMA Tysons.

Applicants must submit (1) a copy of their resume and (2) a personal essay of at least 1000 words answering:

  • How were you introduced to Procurement and Contracts?
  • What interests you in the field of government contracts and its relevance to your future goals?

All applications must be submitted to Anestacia G. Evans. At the time an application is submitted, the applicant must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Provide a copy of Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Applicants ARE NOT required to be members of NCMA
  • Be able to attend NCMA Tyson’s End of the Year Meeting (June 2020) to receive the award.

NCMA Tysons Developing Professional Scholarship

All graduating High school students pursuing a degree in Business Administration are invited to apply for one of two $500 scholarships being offered by NCMA Tysons.

In order to become eligible for the scholarship, a minimum of 500-words essay is required addressing the following topic:

How do you define or recognize leadership? Provide at least one positive example of how you have seen leadership applied. Describe how your leadership skills will help you in Corporate America and/or Contracts Management.

  1. The essay must be at least 500 words, typed in size 12-point Times New Roman font, and double-spaced. The essay will be judged on content, organization, creativity and grammar.
  2. Provide a digital/scanned copy of your schedule for the Fall 2019 Semester or other Proof of Enrollment. You MUST be able to verify enrollment for the Fall 2019 semester to an institution of higher learning by July 1, 2020 or any scholarship funds will be forfeited.

All applications must be submitted to Anestacia G. Evans. At the time an application is submitted, the applicant must:

  • 3.0 minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA), with an official transcript
  • Graduating high school senior to complete diploma requirements by July 2020
  • Proof of admission to an accredited 4 year college or university to begin studies in Fall 2020
  • 500 words (min) essay
  • Be able to attend NCMA Tyson’s End of the Year Meeting (June 2020) to receive the award.
